Digital Signage Expo 2012, the largest digital signage event in the world took place in Las Vegas early March, and we were asked to present their very latest in screen and digital signage technology…

We joined forces with OEM and digital hardware pioneers AOpen to present the future in retail signage solutions.

We created a Quick Service Retail Scenario, using a real brand with a real brief:

Puckles Bakery required an easy-to-update menu board in their flagship store, with the capability to advertise promotions, their latest menu and breakfast, lunch or dinner offers. Initial creative was provided by Visual Unity, which SCT expanded to provide greater functionality and possibility!

2x 42” above-counter screens were installed to enhance customer engagement in-store. The screens push just-in-time promotions and specials scheduled to the time of day — breakfast, lunch and dinner — and the easily-managed menu allows Puckles’ staff to update prices from essentially anywhere in the world using SCT’s Blocks content management system.

Other features available with this digital signage solution include:

+ Running ‘just-in-time’ or time limited-time promotions
+ Modifying specials to suit the time of day
+ Integrated mobile means customers can order ahead to avoid the queue
+ SMS notifications ensures customers know when their order is ready
+ Customers can order directly from their table via a wall-mounted tablet or their smart-phone
+ QR triggered loyalty programs reward your best customers
+ Gamification allows competitions to be run onscreen in-store
